It could've been me
Standing on the line, wasting all my time with this girl
I can't hold on; this emotion's strong, oh God
And I can't fight this feeling anymore...

My heart has cried out this freelance; I can no longer bear the memory. From the other side...

Frozen

As I swore to my kliq as we walked in the ballroom
I'll be there to back you, your mission will succeed.
I swore to myself as I graced the dancefloor
I was to meet my destiny.
The night grew older; the beat grew faster
I see Him at the bat, making his move.
Switch the gear, His back will be covered
If only I could read their lips... then, She came into view.

If She is the one, than I cannot just be myself.
I would have to be myself to the utmost degree.
She deserves nothing less than the best guys can offer.
One cannot use mere words for this sophisticated kind of girl.
I positioned the piper to be prim and proper;
but someone has defeated my plans.
As the one stepped up to the plate
He gets the dance; here's his chance...
Argh! I missed my moment. The guy looks successful.
Well, no one but myself to blame.
Need to find a way to rock my blues away.
My friend scores the hit!! His mission was a success!
Whereas I danced alone surrounded by my empty mess.
But look, she's alone again, and back in her zone.
Perhaps I'm next to bat; best to now clean up my act.
Turn around again to get the thumbs up...
Swivel my head; oh shit! She' s gone again!
Now with some other guy who looks like a fool.
His strategy: win her with humor and his witless charm.
The sorry act might do the trick; with a smile laid on thick.
Well, if he gets it, it's cool. I should've been there sooner...
Back to my zone again, kicking myself in the ass;
But the rhythm is so strong, it takes shots at my pains
One shot by one shot, they all are disappearing...

As I look back, it was as if she never moved from the chair
I felt her hair brushed on her face; her body calling me.
I responded as if to say I knew you were waiting for me.
This is it. I'm up to bat. I'm coming full swing.
Two thumbs up, guys; one alone can't do. I'm on my...
My body is racing but my heart is in the lead;
And I just reached the subliminal conclusion:
I'm not moving.
Feeling stuck like a pendulum, suffering from Catch 22.
Doomed if I do to die; doomed if I don't even try.
As though my heart was closed, I danced...
Frozen.

Before I knew it, the night was over.
I fought to move as hard as I could
but was trapped by a 2 feet radius.
The scent of Obession grew closer
As the object of my affection came about for the kill.
It hugged me and said she wanted to talk to me.
But I was frozen on the dancefloor, and my heart couldn't beat anymore.
I tried to fight out the words before it was too late.
But the killings ended already; I was pronounced dead on the scene.

You guys want drama; well here's a mild taste of what goes on in Hunter.
Beware, it's not much...

Welcome to New York 10021!!!
Starring D, aka "Dangerous" Danilo Dominiquez, who seems to be a lot like me
K, aka Kirby, some girl from D's past
H, aka Hoodrat, D's boy and closest ally
L, aka Zang Dynasty, H's boy and desparate individual
W, aka DWayans, H's other boy, good allies with D

Well katz and kittens, it all started in class, where D had da skillz that no one could compare. D, H, L, and W took the class together, thinking that it would be a breeze through. Well, as it turned out, it was for some, and not for others. In any event, as they studied, they found it took then 3 hours to do one study problem; and 1 hour to do the rest of the study problems. The next day, they took the first midterm. The grades came back, D gets a 95 (naturally), H gets a 60, L a 70, and W an 80. Don't ask us how this happened when they all studied the same material at the same time, but it happened.
Two weeks prior to the second midterm, this girl K shows up. Now K took a class last semester with D, H, and L, but they never really were on speaking terms. K asks around to see who could help her "study" for the second midterm by asking their grades. L shoots out and says "well, D got a 95..." And the rest was history. K met up with the group in the same place they studied for the last midterm. And three things were clear by the time they left: K and L did not know anything going in the exam; by the time H goes in, he would have been drinking the night before and would not know much either; and basically it was up to D to know his stuff.
Second midterm finally came mid April, and H tells D that he needs help. No prob, says D. I expected that much. Then K shows up, and says that she too needs help. D says No problem, I expected that..., and they took the second exam. The grades came back. H & K both got 85, L & W both didn't do so good, and leave it up to D to get another 95. D figured that would be the last he sees of K, and the last that the group stops playing around during study time.
Boy, was he wrong.
Two weeks after Spring Break, K finally shows up to class, hugs and all, to "thank" D for his help, promising that if she passes the finals, D gets dinner with her. Meanwhile, D & H discuss the situation with K. H doesn't like the fact that H & D have been cool for years, then K comes along and gets a near automatic hookup; it is H's distinct belief that K is playing D, and has no intention on backing her word, since most of her word is lies. Having digested H's feedback, D then talks to K, who shows up only three times in class between Spring Break end and finals. K senses hostility between H & K, but thinks nothing of it. As to the reason she skipped a lot of sessions, well there really wasn't any. But she seemed really appreciative of D, and says the two would definitely link up after the mess was over.
Elsewhere, L learns of D's success in the second midterm, and promises D to beat any offer K has if D helps him for the final. Of course this receives H's blessing, because they're all boys. But this doesn't sit well with W for a two-fold reason: while they (L & K) put no effort whatsoever into understanding the work, W's not getting anything out of it.
This puts D in a crosshair. Do you trust your boys and believe K is some skank using you? Or do you really help a friend in need? Or are you in turn, just using the advantage for sex or something? There's only one way to be sure, the Solomon-wannabe says. If they show up for the study session, then I'll know for sure who really needs the help. Out comes the study session, and missing from the group (technically, not literally) is L, who really has no idea what's going on, and pretends to study for another class. Also gone (literally and technically) from the picture is K, who has blamed the problem on everything from her boyfriend, to her zoo of an apartment, to her demanding work schedule. Totally fed up, D demands that if any help is to be given any further, then the price is $50; the guarantee is that you'll have walk away knowledge come the final, and at least pass with 80.
The day of the final, L shows up first with only $20. Though this is beneficial to D, it also doesn't work for him, because not only was he gipped $30, he also doesn't get the girl (K). K shows up 30 minutes later, and ends up in a bad spot. So much so, that when the finals was halfway done, she gets up in frustration, and knocks H's papers on the way to the front table. H, now totally pissed off, dismisses her as a d/b. Meanwhile, D is desparately trying to at least finish the exam, realizing that not enough time was given to answer all the questions; despite that the quantity of questions being very small, the content was not. In any case, by the time the bell sounded, D finally finishes, and the finals are over...
Who do you think survived? Who remains cool with who? Find out next time on New York, 10021...

B-.
B+.
96-89.
My grades for Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Advanced Accounting I classes. And the current score as the Dallas Mavericks are whipping San Antonio's asses.
Life is great. Damn great...

A-.
B-.

My grades for the Business Org/Management and Advanced Accounting II classes respectively.

Life is good.
Life might have been better, provided that Tavie had not sent me text messages in 2:40 in the morning. But nonetheless, life is good.
Life would have been much much better if my Lakers were facing the Mavs, but they can't win all the time, right?
Life will be better when the Nets finally win the title...

I saw Bruce Almighty after my last final on Thursday; and all-in-all, it was a pretty funny and up-lifting film. It may get a tad bit boring at times, but you will still get the gist of things. I must admit I expected Jim Carrey to be a little bit funnier. But he was still funny. And I still recommend the flick.

This is what I would like for Christmas this year. If $3300 of a PowerBook is unaffordable, I'll settle for $24.99 worth of this...

More to come in my weekly blog sessions, where I may attempt to write about a soap opera. Until then...

When in the vibe, you don't just ride the wave of success...
you fly the wave. And fly high until the vibe is dead and gone...

Greetings from da kat unda da Kangol Cap! I just came from the first set of finals, and I must say, God brought back the vibes, refreshed and re-energized. From the Business Organization & Management finals, to the Intermediate Macroeconomics final, I was on the money, on point, all the time. Not once was I off-track, and my friends had no problem holding on for dear life as I continued to fly high. And if you don't understand, it's okay: only trained ears would...

In any case, I am sooo glad that Int. Macro is finally over. Never again will I see those whiny seniors, that old teacher's pet, and no more of that atrocious professor, who despite her nice and warm nature, became totally unbearable during class time. I am so glad. And to top it off, can I say that I had a hand in shipping those seniors in the back row out of college? Damn right I can...

And now, all that lies for me is Statistics and the Accounting finals. Joy.

My iPod turned 5 months old last week. I guess I was riding the poetic vibes so long I forgot to mention it. But hey, my Iceman understands. To compensate, I'm buying the iCable, with future intentions of acquiring a new stereo to accompany the iPod...

Finally saw Matrix Reloaded on Thursday. Overall, it was a pretty awesome flick. And for those stuck on cash that wish not to know what happens, I'll only warn you about the ending, and to stick around for the trailer to Matrix Revolutions. Of all the people that were there, only me, Brian, his friend and a small number of others stuck around for a sneak-peek at the November flick. Our only question is what to see next, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Bad Boys II, or X2...

Speaking of X2, my thoughts and prayers go to Mark; I hope he returned safe and sound to the Prescotts. It's amazing how stuff that can happen so far away affects you all the way up here. You don't have to know them for it to touch you. Ah man, I just hope the boy's all right...

Okay, that's all I concuct for now. As I put on my piloting gear, and set sail for Thursday, I bid you adieu...

Alright, I'm in da mood! One last freelance!
In my recent overflow of freelances, I've created a freelance about creating a very cool freelance. With Edwin Yearwood in my brain, it ended up turning into a song. So, without further ado, from the other side...

What a freelance!
To the tune of What A Feeling, by Edwin Yearwood

Got a feelin', that won't let go
try to hide it, telling it oh no
It's like fire, got to put it out
Or else I'm gonna... gonna scream and shout!

Chorus
Can't believe I thought up all that (a freelance, oh what a freelance!)
Can't believe I just wrote all that (a freelance, oh what a freelance!)
Can't believe I made up all that (a freelance, oh what a freelance!)
Can't believe I just wrote all that (a freelance, oh what a freelance!)
This freelance! Sweet romance...
The rhythm; keeps me from going crazy...
This freelance! Sweet romance...
I'm in a trance; I gotta a lot to write tonight!

Chillin' in my crib; watching the news
they got me singing the college blues
Gotta keep striving; I can't wear a frown
No matter how they try to keep me down

chorus

Have no gal-friend, so I heading home
to me brother, who is not alone
Started typing, I found another vibe
He asked me why; I said I cannot hide...

chorus
to fade...

Tuesday, May 13, 2003

The vibes continue!
How's about a different kind of freelance, one I've been meaning to write for a while.
It may need some work, but you know my principle: nothing's sweeter the second time around.
So, from the other side...

Hallmark Cards

You are a true blessing to this family
The pillar that holds it all together
Remembering all the ways you were there for me
Those moments with you I will forever treasure
By your side is where I'd want to stay
You're a part of my life I want around always
Whose powerful light shines every day...
That's probably what a Hallmark Card might say.

May your days be filled with happiness galore
may your heart find peace and joy abound
You're the gift to us that gives more and more
The one true love that I want around
To kneel beside you as the flugelhorns play
and see your smile under the moonlit night
I declare my love for you on this day...
And that's what a Hallmark editor might write.

It's funny how they speak the words for us.
Stealing the spotlights and moments we have.
As we reach for the thoughts that convey our love
to find out those words have already been said.
By someone who may never had felt that joy,
or someone who remembers being under that white arc.
For love is more than giving a Christmas toy...
hey, maybe I should write cards for Hallmark!!

Ah, here's another freelance I thought up!
A little less humorous than the first, but I still think it's cool. Besides, it's been a while since I had a string of vibes anyway.
From the other side...

Ode To My Father Calling Me

I'm coming in two seconds; soon as I finish this thought
the words flow through the ball point and this train can't stop.
I know about the garbage that has to be taken out
but can't it wait a few seconds longer
my emotions are feeling stronger
as these words I do grow fonder;
It's not like there's a garbage drought.

It's not just another poem, Pop.
I know you called; I'll be there soon.
You see, it's not just another belly-ache.
It is that moment I live
Another vibe that I give
flipping negative to positive;
Like I'm sleeping in my wake.

All right, one more minute, father.
I'm inching my way out of the bed.
I know one of these days, you'll send me up the Nile.
It's not like the dishes are going anywhere,
and it's not that I really don't care
but only of these thoughts I share...
I mean, can't the dishes wait awhile?

Finito! Completed! Okay, I'm on my way.
Now, I'm ready for what you have to say.
Do you want your car keys and the rain coat?
You look serious as a heart attack,
or did you want my cracker jack;
Oh, time to wash your back...
What? You called me just for a TV remote??

Hey, hey, hey!
Don't look at me with that tone of voice...

The finals are exactly one week away...
two next Tuesday; three next Thursday...
How da hell this happened? How did I walk into this, man?
Oh well, I got through worse, right??

RIght. And as of now, I will stop worrying until the finals is over. With over 90 credits now, and about 15 left to go, I'll be just fine. Other than that, greetings from the kat unda da Kangol Cap! As you can tell, this is the last week of the spring semester, and I'm weeks away from doing my first ever summer school session. I may have nothing new to write this week, for nothing really interesting has happened...

Oh. That dead-end relationship I wrote about last time?? Well, I'm totally over that one now. Over time, I realized the last thing I wanna do is hook up with a desparate, stupid person, which is basically what I was asking myself to do last week. I helped her out tremendously over last month, and at first it was nothing, until I started to really notice her. I got serious about starting something with her, until I started asking questions. And well, the rest is obviously history; a piece of history I'd love to forget. I seem to be in the mood of helping people a lot as of late, I've noticed. But, whatever. In the end, I'm still graduating.

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the mothers, especially Mine, out there!!! Having failed to do this Sunday, I want to do it now...

Big congratulations to Christina Chow (Brian's sister) for graduating with Masters from NYU!! That's one huge step to take, and she did it!! So big shout out to her.

You see? I told you I had nothing new to write about!!! Alright; one last thing: I want to see Matrix Reloaded Wednesday night sooo bad...
But only Brian can see it Wednesday night. Everyone else opts for Friday.
But then I imagine everyone wants to start studying Friday. And there are no classes on Friday, so I also imagine excuses as to why they can't go Friday. Oh to hell with it, I'm going Wednesday. If no one comes, so what!?? I have no problem meeting new people...

All right, that truly is it for now. I'll see you guys after the finals, or Matrix Reloaded, which ever I choose 1st. Enjoy yourself! In not for yourself, then do it for me!

This one may be coming in a little bit late, but hey, better late than never, right?
So, without further ado, from the other side...

Shawana, The Red-Nosed Mother

Shawana the red-nosed mother
had a pimple on her nose
and if you ever saw it
You probably would think it glows
All of Shawana's children
teased her up and called her names;
and they wouldn't let Shawana
play any of their card games.

Then one foggy Mother's Day
Their father came to say:
Shawana, with your nose so bright,
won't you play Romie tonight?

Then all the children booed him
as Shawana won the game...
Shawana the red-nosed mother
Had a happy Mother's Day!!!

-Bridge-

And on that foggy Mother's Day
Their father went to say:
Shawana, see the candlelight?
I went and made dinner tonight...

Shawana and her husband
rocked the whole night away...
To Shawana and all the mothers:
Have a Happy Mother's Day!

Sticks and stones can break my bones...
but whips and chains excite me.

Actually, General Grant says ...but Jah-Jah never leaves us alone, which is true, but I thought this might be funnier. In any event, greetings from da Kat unda da Kangol cap! I've been meandering a bit this past week about life in general, and have come to the conclusion that I need to be occupied. Sitting around doing nothing only rottens my brain...

Other than that, some more thoughts for the week that I'll share...

The new iPods, after extensive observations (a.k.a., frequent trips to J & R), will get a 9 out of 10 from me. While Apple kept the original formula of simplicity and elegance intact, they did add in some cool new features. The backlit screen now has a touch of blue (yay!), and even the buttons (which are even lighter than feather touch controls) light up! The docking feature reminiscent of PDA's is quite impressive. And though slightly taller, the iPods make up for it in thickness. Did I mention that it actually includes a remote that works!?!?
As with the old iPods, the new ones can store names, addresses, numbers, even notes! A nice addition to those features are two new games, solitaire and parachute, more classics added to bricks. There is even a way to record on to the iPod (if only but for a few seconds; I'll post up the info for that later); and the new iPods play mp3, wma, aiff, and AAC files; which are most commonly found now from iTunes music store downloads, and allow an iPod to have more than 7500 songs on the 30GB hard drive.
So, what's not to like about the new iPods?? Well, the price is still too high; though when I take into effect that I'm now paying $2 instead of $1.50 to use public transportation one-way, $500 for 30GB of music ain't that bad. Despite the fact that there is a way to record onto the iPod, the feature doesn't, yet should, come in standard. While Apple, or Belkin, has plans to release a battery pack for the new models (you see, someone's been reading my blogspot, someone's been reading my blogspot...), there are still no plans for a radio. The new buttons are great, but can take a while to get used to; and that's putting it mildly. And what's worse, the expected battery life has dropped to 8 hours; so everyday, I'll be charging this thing (when I get it, of course.)
Bottom Line: The new iPods are worth the investment, as they've always been; either as a second one (with the old iPods used as backups), or as a first time iPoder, becoming a part of 21st century popular culture. Once you get past the small stuff, you'll be rocking away too!
Pros: Simple and elegant design; much thinner than older models; light-up buttons; extra games; more diverse in terms of music formats; better remote control.
Cons: New controls can be quite cumbersome at times; still no standard line in recording; no radio; less battery power.
Grade: 9 out of 10.

Ah, the unveiling of the new iPods at the SoHo store was fantastic! Even though I wasn't there at 6PM on the dot, I got to meet new friends, and together we ooed and aahed at everything we saw. There was a live DJ, and even a musical performance by a Long Island group named Glassjaw, which I thought was very cool. But waiting outside the store was just like waiting for Coldplay tickets; we hid from the rain, ran from the rain, reminisced about our iPod experiences, consoled the pissed off people who bought their old iPods weeks (and days) prior to the announcement of the new models, and we chilled together within the time frame of about 30 minutes. I even met a guy who works for Techknowsphere, who could've very well helped Tavie with her iBook screen and ethernet port problem. Talk about iPoders of the city, unite!!!, this was even better. But one highlight of that night: someone's girlfriend was waiting for her man so she can get inside the Apple Store and see what's up. The problem: he's inside already, and she has to wait on the incredibly-long-ass-line to get inside. Attempting to phone the guy to let him know of the situation, I tried to call her attention. She looked so sweet as I gave her permission to look like we were together and cut in line. As to why I did that (and I was asked that question), I gave three reasons. First, it was the gentleman-thing to do. Second, she was very cute. And most importantly...
She had an umbrella. A very crucial element in keeping dry en route to the festivities.

As I attempt to draw this computer discussion to a close, I must say two more things. First, my current 10GB iPod turns five months old next week; it's alive and kicking still, with 1666 songs, and 1.7GB of space left. I intend on getting a new mini-audio system so I can connect the iPod for the total musical experience; the experience you can only get at home, of course. Anyone who knows a good brand for mini-audio system can drop a line; all feedback is appreciated.
Second, I must commend Apple for its new iTunes Music Service. This can only get 9 out of 10 from me though, because while I enjoy the fact I can download any song $1 a piece, and the fact there is an extensive library to choose from, I still am confronted with a very typical problem: acquiring songs not available in their library. Songs from Dan Siegel, Everette Harp, and Jennifer Warnes, to name a new artists, are still hard to come by. So I hope that in time, that problem can be corrected. Other than that, the only thing Apple is getting from me is two more dollars, for David Benoit's The Key To You, and David Sanborn's Lesley Ann.

Moving along, I B'ed the Intermediate Macroeconomics exam last Tuesday, and all's well in da crib. But no time to rest; while Veesha is enjoying summer break now, I take 2 finals in one day, and 3 in another day. Imagine it; 3 final exams, back to back to back. But not to worry, there's a storm brewing; God's sending some more blessings down my way...
While I'm on the subject, I may as well address my feelings toward Vee's current situation. I must say that I do agree with taking some time off, especially if you're stressed out. Though I've never went through this problem myself, I know that it is beneficial. It can also be harmful if you don't know your way back into the swing of things; but for someone like Vee, I never see that being a problem. But for now, just take care of you, and as Sizzla says, live right.

Nice to finally hear from Mikey once more, whose comments of "keep runnin man, the marathon's almost over" were very encouraging. As to his circumstances (which are typical of dormitories and roommates), it's kinda hard to decide. I for one might ask them about it, just to see their reaction; let them know that I'm on the lookout, and catch them in the act should they be responsible. I know someone who went through a similar circumstance; and he ended up moving out of the dorm completely because of it. I guess that's one major flaw in being in a dorm. All I can really say is, put them in God's hands; as he deals with them if they're in fact responsible, you should be cautious with your stuff.

I'll post some more a little bit later. Right now, I'm sobbing over the death of a possible relationship, while still trying to finish my accounting homework...

Hey guys!
The kat unda the Kangol cap is comin live from the Apple Store in SoHo for the premier of the new iPods. And I gotta say guys, these iPods look and feel fantastic!!

Talk about feather-touch controls; talk about sleek and slim; these new iPods have it all! And while I can't part with my 10GB touch-sensitive scroll wheel model, I would plunk out the cash for the new model...

This DJ is blastin da big tunes!!!

I'll come back to you with a more in depth look, and my final analysis.

Addendum:
Why I still do not condone the actions that happened during these times, it is stories like these that boost the reputation of the New Yorker. I personally must thank Alex and Mary, people I never seen, let alone met, before, for helping my buddy retain her watch. My only wish was that I was there to help...

My faith in my city has officially been restored...

I smile... because I have no idea what is going on.

Ok, that's not all entirely true. At least, that was not the case when I took my Intermediate Macroeconomics midterm on Tuesday. I just don't ever want to go through with that professor again. I want to get out of college so bad...
But now it looks like the spring of 2004...

But in any event, greetings from da kat under da Kangol cap! Another week, and I have just came back from spring break. Yep, all 100% of me is now intact, and ready to finish this semester so I can do some real work. As far as the April showers of midterms went, I got a 97 in the Statistical Analysis midterm, 24 out of 25 on my Advanced Accounting I exam, B on Advanced Accounting II, 95 on my Business Organization midterm, and as stated earlier, I just took my Eco 301 test on Tuesday. All in all, things are looking up, up, and away from here. All I need to do right now, is maintain my focus, and come finals, keep the formula intact.

So, what else is new otherwise? Hmm...

LIVE ON STAGE. 5.2.03. The new iPod. Available this Friday at 6pm.

The new iPods will be available for me to hold, touch, and druel on this Friday at the Apple Store in Soho. So you know I'm gonna be there to check that out.
New updates for iTunes, Quicktime, and iPod software are available! These new updates incorporate the AAC m4p technology, which supposedly is the next generation of mp3. 128 kbps encoded AAC files keep as much of the music intact as a 192 kbps mp3 file, while still using less hard disk space! [This in turn backs the claim that a 30GB iPod can hold up to 7500 songs, when in keeping with the original mp3 system, it would only hold up to 5000 songs.] And the sound is pretty amazing.
Also, in response to the music piracy problems, Apple has partnered with music companies to form it's very own iTunes Music Store, where any song you want is $1 (compared to $5 for a CD single, that's well worth the investment), and any album is $10. Once I got the damn music eStore to accept my Apple ID login (that took a long while), I bought two songs on their opening day; the first being One Hundred Ways by David Sanborn, the other being Spice of Life, by The Manhattan Transfer (yes, the Manhattan Transfer). All downloads when I used it were only available in the new AAC format, which is protected/locked; you cannot make any changes or conversions unless you burn the songs unto CD. That of course would be the only downside. But hey, it's my music, so I really don't care. And, all I have to do in the long run is wait until some programmer finds a way to fix that protection problem anyway. Otherwise, the system is pretty cool, and I might be able to find more songs with it!! You see, those guys at Apple can use their brains someimes...
Furthermore, Griffin Tech. & Belkin seemingly have been reading my posts, because they now have created FM radios and battery packs that work the old and new iPods!! Though the visual concepts were not what I had imagined, their minds were in the right place, and they'll be available over the summer!

However, I do not want you guys to feel that I do not appreciate my scratched up 10GB Iceman, who turns five months this month. With 1647 songs, and only 1.8 GB of space left, it functions without fail, progressing update after update, and while the new iPods will only have 8 hours of life, this one still gives me 10! Sorry Tavie, I ain't givin my baby up; he'll just have a brother or sister to play with!! This would of course come after I replace my home mini audio system (yup, instead of buying $130 speakers, I'm gonna get the full bookshelf system, and just connect my iPod to it). Oh man I can't wait til this semester ends...

My father came out the hospital on Tuesday!! He looks and feels great; it's as if nothing happened. Only God can do these things man; bring more, more, more!!

A new addition has been added to my blog, my photos!!! Now you all can see my mug shots (but as for now, some pics from the 2003 Auto Show) anytime you choose. But I warn you, I only intend to post pics sparingly. It's not like you really need to see what I look like...

Right now, I look at my current academic situation, and while part of me wants to kick myself in the ass, the other part just wants to keep on movin'. Due to the fact I changed my major from math to accounting, I end up staying at Hunter one semester (or possibly year) longer than I anticipated. This is bad only because a decent portion of the kliq will graduate in June, and I technically will be unable to join in the festivities. I mean, I'll be 22 when I graduate; and I took no semester-long vacation, no failing grades, no serious problems, nothing. I just will be leaving later than anticipated.
On the same note, I will be the first in my family's generation to graduate from college. And nothing beats that. Though my generation is relatively small in size, to know that I can provide an example for my younger, and older, cousins and brother to follow is one hug chunk of what keeps me going in this system. And in the end, I will face the greatest challenge of all...

Moving out.

Well guys, that was all that was on mind for the week. Until Friday, when I start drueling on the new iPods, enjoy yourselves!! And remember, if not for you, then at least do it for me!!

PS_ Where in the blue hell is Mikey???
