The iPod photo 60GB
"So guys, what do you feel like hearing today?"
That is the question I ask almost everytime I start my machine up at work, and get ready to serve customers. The day wouldn't start for some without such a question being asked. There was a short while (at the first two weeks of the GreenPoint/North Fork conversion) that I thought it would never happen. But in time, things returned back to normal, and my stereo system is up and running again.
At times, I'll cater to my co-workers, who'll have a particular groove in mind. Sometimes, I'll cater to Jonathan's craving for John Legend. Other times, I travel back in time for some reggae roots. And at certain moments, when I wanna hear what I wanna hear, then dammit, that's what I hear.
To help satisfy the majority of my coworkers, I am assisted by a whopping 60GB hard drive filled with music with appropriate bit-rates for all my music (all my Miles Davis and John Coltrane are set at 224kbps; everything else at 160kbps). It also helps when they have an album cover along with the rest of the information about any particular version. That's just one of the reasons I love my iPod photo. I'm sure by now, you can get one stripped of most of its accesories for about $450; but when I bought it with everything included for $600, it was the best musical investment ever made. Too bad there is no truly-compatible case worth my money for it that can buy without going online. But hey, I got everything I wanted in an iPod; with more room, in color. Can one really complain?!?!
