For those who understand no explanation is needed, ...For those who don't none will do.
Jerry Lewis

I know guys.
It's been a long time.
But life hasn't truly blessed me with enough time to be here the way I want to.
It also hasn't given me a new freelance to ponder on.

But hey, aside from all of that, life is pretty good.

I thought about doing a 2004 retrospective: the end of the struggle. The year I finally graduate from college. But after long consideration, I realized we are in April, and it's time to look ahead.
I thought about talking about work some more, with the many sofakings that I deal with on what is seemingly becoming a daily basis. But I've learned that we all have our own sofakings. Combine that with the fact that the very sofaking I talk about could be a reader of this blog, and I revert back to the point I made about no longer bring up my work-related issues back to this blog ever again. That doesn't however change the facts: I still am at the GreenPoint Division of North Fork bank, the overall atmosphere is still deteriorating, and I'm still looking to relocate to a new job.

Miami Vice Season 1 DVD set
I'm getting tired of seeing the Universal promo before each and every episode. I mean, okay; every episode is its own film. For the first several episodes, leading into Glades, that's acceptable. But, on every episode? I must hit the fast forward button on every episode to get to the actual episode!??
Where are my trailers??!!??!!
Furthermore, I guess the only times I actually sat down to watch MV was on TNN over the last several years. So, to compare picture quality is kinda meaningless, despite my expectations. I'm not gonna get Collateral quality, or Bad Boys II quality. But at least it's not Luther @ Wembley quality.

Okay, enough bitching. If the mere fact I have an entire season at my disposal isn't great enough, the 5.1 Dolby surround sound is. Add the good picture quality to it, I can't honestly complain about it, or wait until season 2 arrives (which should be sometime after Knight Rider Season 2). Working with twenty year old material, the DVD reproduction staff did a phenomenal job of bringing Vice back to life. Biased or not, it gets my highest rating.
Rating: 10 out of 10

This is the beginning. More on this post later...
