This is how I spend my first day at 23. Being suckered in by dames, hooking up friends who completely forget my birthday with stuff, eating leftovers from the birthday dinner; it was like I turned 22 all over again.

Bah-humbug.

I lie.

I did actually have a cool birthday. I went to Madison Square Garden to see the Knicks beat Utah Jazz in a close game. We had dinner at the Shark Bar. And I got hooked up with some Burberry cologne.
Cool.
Well guys, I am almost forced to say this, because the feeling, or the spirit, of Christmas is not quite here for some reason. But to you and yours, have a Merry Christmas, and enjoy the rest of 2004!!
And no, I didn't get the iPod phot 60GB, so I wait until February. Yep, Christmas for me is coming in February, because right along with that iPod, I'm getting season 1 of Miami Vice!! Personally, I wouldn't mind having the series done in widescreen, especially all the two-part episodes, but I can't, therefore won't, complain.

This year, I made it my business to get my peeps what they really wanted. Mi mum, for example, wanted to try the new Eternity Moments fragrance that just came out, and she got that. My pop wanted an Olympus voice recorder, and that's what he got. My coworker wanted this plaid driving cap from Banana Republic, and even though that was a trip to obtain, she got it. My boy wanted the Bad Boys DVD set, along with a live performance by Fred Hammond and Comissioned sounds. He got it, and a Thundercats T-Shirt, something he told me wanted for years, yet seemed to childish to buy himself. How cool is that?
The rest of my co-workers seemed to want what my clientele gave me; a commemorative M&M's mug filled with the candy, a cute toy dog, some off-the-press reggae music, amongst other stuff. And in the kindness of my heart, I hooked them up too!! A little off-beat behavior, but hey, it's Christmas.

And I? Well as I said, I didn't get my iPod photo. So that'll have to wait. I really can't complain, so much has happened this year alone, that I can honestly say being here at this point after having accomplished so much is my gift. So I'm still taking my six month vacation, and in '05, that's when I'll fully return to form.
Meantime, I anxiously wait to see if all my kliq passed their finals so I can attend their graduation January 15th. I have developed a near flawless record at work, along with some 25 commendations from clients over the last three months alone, letting you know this kat don't play. And in the interim, I look for an accounting job so I can finally take off from there.

Next time, I feel to do a retrospective on 2004: The End of the Struggle...
Until then,
Have yourself a merry little Christmas!!!
