Fatback Taffy
Jill Scott
Experience: Jill Scott 826+

This weekend at work was sure as hell a wacky weekend. It put me and my body to the test, and in the end, I came out ahead. I think.
At work, we decided to give away the "Skippy The Dog" plush toys to the customers to help ease the long line that was there. For the most part, it worked; that was, until the GP old-timer runs out of dolls first. She then decides to take from the other tellers, and all of a sudden, the dolls become more important than the customers we were supposed to be servicing. At that point, me and my colleague agreed; there must be a reason that she's been there, part-time, for eight years: she has no place else to go...
But not even Skippy could save us from the customers, who seemingly started trouble for everything; from how the other tellers responded to them, to which customer had first place on the service desk line, to why hey are charged for not having enough funds in their account for credit card transactions. The fight over first place at the desk took the cake though, both the supervisor, the assistant manager, and security tried to fend off the combatants, err, customers, but with no luck, and cops had to enter the scene.
And all I can say, with the whole middle section of teller not proving, thank God I did.

From there, I head to the music store for Richie Spice's Spice In Your Life, then I go home, pop in the CD, and just when I thought I pressed play to listen to it...
I wake up five hours later.
I didn't feel like going back to sleep after that, but I ate some soup, changed clothes, and actually fell back to sleep.
Eleven hours later, I wake up again.
Now, I feel a tad bit energized. I feel as though I really needed that resting time. I feel like a new kat.
Ready to work again, in another seven hours.

I wanted to see Ray for the longest time now. Problem is everyone I know has either seen it already, or is too busy to go. Adding injury to insult, they recommend I not see this one alone. Yet, despite popular opinion, that is exactly what I might do tonight, see it alone.
Err...

My fotolog is being updated daily now, so you guys can check it out.

As far as my new job search goes, well slowly but surely, it's going.

Ahh yes, that photo of me & my PowerBook...
Next time, I promise.
'til then...
