Whoa.
It's raining like it's April or something.
Raining so hard, the Yankees/BoSox game was postponed.
I feel like pulling my left eye out right now, probably because the eyelid is still swollen.
After sleeping in my newly painted bedroom on Monday, compliments of da Kat, I woke up that Tuesday with my eye feeling like it was being pulled down everytime I wink. Nothing noticeably was wrong, until I swatted a mosquito later on that day. Before moving my stuff back in, I took one last look at it, nothing to be found. Next day, same thing. Thursday, same feeling.
Friday, I headed to the shower, and notice a big lump at the edge of my brow. Okay I'm exaggerating a bit, but it feels like a lump. I headed to work, and everyone caught on to it. This mosquito bite is having a very bad effect on me; so much so, I almost was shorted today! Now, I put hot tea bags on it, hoping it dies out.
The Old-Timer looked at me, and said I remind her of a boxer two or three days after winning the big fight. Yeah, I had to smirk at that too. Now, if I can just get her child to stop dirtying my pants...

I need a good kick in the ass. Seriously. Nothing's wrong with working at this bank; okay that's an exaggeration too. But I need to move on into the field I actually graduated to be a part of. I need to give my boss, as hard as it'll be for me to do, my two weeks notice. I need to stop feeling like I'm jumping around the safety net, and fall into a better one. The motivation (stop laughing, Danilo) stands on my wall next to my Miles Davis poster. Holding off the CPA exam until January only means I better have no excuse on not passing it.
Time to move forward.

So, we've lost Christopher Reeve.

** pause **

He had so much energy for someone in a wheelchair. It was a shame he had to go.
It's funny, late last week/early this week, we lose the democratic advocate of "Superman," and months prior, Bill Clinton had to undergo heart surgery which nearly cost the Kerry supporter his life.
Coincidence?
If not, then politics truly is a very deadly game.

If I'm not shot by CIA, or sent to Bellevue by FBI, then I'll post more later.
