Pistons - 100. Lakers - 87.
The Detroit Pistons won the NBA championships.
Ok, guys. So this is the end of the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty.
I cried last night. It was such an emotional moment. Watching Shaq and Kobe disintegrate into nothing. It was, for a lack of a better word...
disheartening.
But 'nuff respect to the Wallaces', Chauncey, Rip, and Tayshaun Prince. This will be one team that goes down in history as one of the few teams in NBA history to win without a star player.
In fact, they all were star players.
Man, I'm gonna miss dem Lakers.
I know, I haven't been blogging as I should have these last several weeks. In fact, being that I've graduated from college, I should be posting more than ever. Truth be told, I've been running some projects for people, as well as dealing with those jabronies at work. Well, they're not really jabronies; I've went out with them on several occasions now. I've exposed them to a loose, party-life-like facade that has refreshed their hopes that they have found a new buddy in me. Well, I've kept it up for a while, but soon enough, I'm gonna run out of steam.
Speaking of which, I'm heading to this boat ride of Sunday June 27th. It's a "pink & white" affair, so I'll present to the GreenPoint congregation my Moshood linen attire.
Heh-heh, I can imagine their comments when I arrive.
So, katz n' kittenz, it's actually, really, over.
I've graduated from Hunter College.
What have I been doing?
Fire Fire
T.O.K.
Reggae Gold 2004
I've been waiting for T.O.K.'s second album. Surely, with all the hits they've acquired since My Crew, My Dawgs, they could comprise another album.
Otherwise, I've been working and socialising. In fact, I went to a club [Club Copacabana, to be exact] for the first time in 3 years! Though nothing really happened, it was just a great feeling to be there. To be dancing to booming music again; it certainly won't beat Dancehall @ Jones Beach, but it was not so bad.
I'm gonna make a few tweaks to this blog, and then, my sole focus will be my freelance blog. It has dwindled in importance over time, but now I've got my focus, and some new freelances en route. It will be completed by July.
Until next time...
