Hello everyone.
First, a moment of silence to remember the nation's 40th President, and the only actor to become President, Ronald Regan.
...
He's the first Prez that I remember growing up. His many talks with Russia's Mikhail Gorbechaev and Great Britain's Margaret Thatcher made him an icon here in BK. He promoted peace in our time, and that's the one thing I'll always remember him for.
Second, congratulations to the Tampa Bay Lightning for winning their first Stanley Cup. Though I personally was rooting for Calgary, being a Bret Hart fan and all, I gotta say that Richards and Dave Andreychuk deserved that win. Well played strategies and the first two goals of the night were crucial elements to the game that Tampa Bay took advantage of. Good for them, and congrats once again.
Third, so what Detroit won game 1!?!?
So the Lakers decided to brighten their hopes up a bit, so what?
Does anyone recall a certain Allen Iverson winning Game 1 of the finals years back when the 76ers fought L.A.?
Does anyone care to remember what happened after that?
So great for Tayshaun, Rip, and Chauncey that they seized the moment in L.A.
Now, if they win game 2, that's another story...
Last, but not least, let me run the final transcript to you guys for the final semester leading on to Tuesday's ceremonies...
Auditing -- B+. Well deserved, even though I could've got higher.
Corporate Taxation -- A. Need I say anything more?
Introduction to Jazz -- B. Well, I couldn't fight this. My attention was elsewhere. But hey, nobody's perfect.
Corporate Finance -- B-. See above.
And now, the grand finale... The deciding factor... After long hours and one hard-ass final exam...
Principles of Biology part II -- C+.
Yes folks, dis Kat unda da Kangol Cap has successfully graduated from Hunter College!!
After five years of attendance, inspite of all that I went through, it's finally over!!!!
I say again...
I have G-R-A-D-U-A-T-E-D!!!
Right now though, I am more elated about the fact that I passed BIO 102, than the fact I've graduated from College; first of my generation and all.
In early celebration, I went out with my co-workers, yes you read right, my co-workers, to UNO's for dinner and drinks. Let's just say I showed them a side of me that indicates that I'm one of them; and they were ever so relieved.
Aside from that, I really don't know anymore. I do not have the enthusiasm that the rest of my family has. Nor that of my friends, or perhaps some of you. Maybe I feel a little empty now that's all over.
Maybe I should continue about this later.
Coming up, pictures from Radio City Music Hall; as they host the 2004 Hunter College commencement...
