My daily bloggong run...

I feel relaxed now.
Transferring some of my smooth jazz music from audio tape to iPod.
Current song count... 2280.
Wow.

How's this for an idea?
Instead of one blog, which showcases my freelances and life story, how about two separate blogs; one for my life, and the other for freelances?
That's an idea I've been pouncing around for some time. It's not bad, though. I can balance two archives, and even dedicate one to a real about me page.

Now, I got's to get me a HTML book. And a crash course on Biology.
Tomorrow, I go to work in my street clothes. Why, so I can rearrange their supply room. I know somebody that's gonna need some speakers...

Ah, just what I need. A poetry contest.
I wonder whose bright idea that was...

Speaking of freelancing, check this out. And once again, huge shoutout to Madame Walker for being so nice and sharing her wit with me. Hope she did well on her Journalism final...

Trials of Temptation
By Alexandra Walker

Throughout life, everyone must come across many challenges, and many of these challenges test not one’s strength, but one’s weakness. Our encounters test the different weaknesses we possess, such as greed and arrogance. During The Odyssey, several tests are placed on the various characters to challenge the weakness of temptation. Odysseus, Penelope, and even the suitors are tempted to do various tasks that could lead to a downfall in their life, minor or major. Now, if Odysseus was stupid enough to fall into one of these “traps,” there would be no story, and therefore no reason for me to write this pathetic excuse for a paper, but since Homer decided to make his main character actually intelligent and interesting, or at least interesting to a few people, he didn’t do this. Of course the bad guys (being the suitors) did, which is completely expected because as I said, if they had not fallen into the “trap” there would be no story and I wouldn’t be losing my sanity and my sleep writing this. As you can see, I have been tempted to write what I truly think, and if I were to actually turn this in as my final intro, I would be: one: extremely stupid, and two: prove my point. Although I would have to face the consequences of getting a bad grade, and even though I would be doing what I’m supposed to be doing, voicing my opinion (although I am not allowed to use “I”), I would learn never to do what my assignments really say. I would pass this much easier, which I WILL do, just letting you know, if I wrote bullshit and something my teacher would actually want me to hear, than write what I truly think of a 500 page book I was forced to read in 3 weeks.
