You would think, after three years of college, you would get used to your summer starting in mid-May, and ending in end-August. But afer three years, I still feel awkward. I guess that's the down-side of having siblings in high school.

It's been two weeks in training, crammed up in the 42nd Street/Vanderbilt Modell's, and it's been okay. The managers there are cool, the stock guys know their stuff. And the other associates don't look half bad either. It's not the fantastic job I wanted for the summer, but it'll do. In a twist of Arsenio Hall's last lines in Coming To America:

"Well, look at the bright side. At least we know the anatomy of a shoe..."

Yeah, and the fact that I should never use running shoes in a baseball game!!!:o)
